It's Twitter saying it, so the answer is "Probably not."

But in this case, his ex-girlfriend from a decade or so ago accused him of being abusive a few months back, he denied it, there's no real proof, and it hasn't gone to trial or anything. But the Internet is more than ready to crucify him for it anyway, because that's what the Internet does.

Basically, Twitter has become as septic as Tumblr used to be. You're almost better off ignoring everything that happens there entirely, because almost everyone is a terrible person.

Anyone else find it interesting that PO's solution to "terrible" people is to just ignore them, yet he's extremely chummy with people like Zeus and Whiskey? Sorry PO, there's no room on the moral high ground for you!

Yeah, Twitter also got mad at Peloton because they thought that one commercial was sexist. Then, they tried to make sure the male in the commercial got no more work because of it. I don't know what happened to him, but the female got to work with Ryan Reynolds, so that's good. Also, Twitter is dumb. Though, I do like some of the artist. Because I like yaoi...

I wouldn't say "extremely chummy".

And to be fair, it's because most of my interaction with both of them comes in the Geek topics, where we've explicitly banned political bullshit and neither of them act like assholes. It's easy to have a better opinion of someone when they talk about interesting things you care about and aren't wading into the massive open sewer that is political argument topics on PotD. It's also somewhat easier to be sympathetic to people when most of the people they're arguing with are also coming across like massive dickwads, regardless of what politics any given person are spouting off.

It's also worth noting that there's a reason why I avoid political topics in general on PotD - you'll notice I rarely post in them at all, and if I do, it's mostly just to comment once or twice and be on my way. And I'll almost always punch out once a thread devolves into its usual feces-flinging mess of name-calling and slapfighting. Because those topics mostly exist solely to be asshole trollfest flame wars, where everyone is just there to shout insults at anyone who disagrees with them, no one is ever convinced of anything, and no one ever changes their mind about anything. At that point you're just circle-jerking into a hurricane, and while that may be your personal fetish, it isn't really mine.

Speaking of, James Roday changed his name to James Roday Rodriguez this year. Given how drastically his looks have changed since being on Psych (largely in terms of weight gain), it almost makes things less confusing.

I know ignoring Jigsaw has done wonders for me. While apparently it hasn't stopped his attempted trolling and harassment, at least I don't have to see it any more.

And to be fair, my assessment of them as terrible has very little to nothing to do with politics. And the "chummy" comment was more a joking prod at you rushing to tell people the "Zeus is banned" thread is "technically trolling." As if any of us care. Why do you?
