Like is there anyone left in the world who, if you told them about the ongoing pandemic, this would be totally new to them? Obviously, I'm not counting very young children, people who are mentally compromised, people who are being held against their will, etc.

I'm talking about people who have REALLY been living under a rock and somehow still don't know about it. Are there such people left in the world? For example, do the Amish know about it, and are they affected by it? I'm just wondering, if I were to start a conversation with an acquaintance whom I haven't seen in a very long time, whether I could talk about what they've been up to since the whole thing started. But will that work for everyone, or are some people blissfully unaware?

Remote villages in places with poor, uninformed, spread apart people could likely be unaware. Other than that, it'd have to be some random dudes off the grid who only contact the outside world if necessary.

I'm sure everyone who participates in a society that interacts with the rest of the world is aware. Call your friend.

At this point, it would have to be someone who never leaves the house or interacts with anyone and who doesn't watch the news or go to news websites ever. I think it'd be pretty difficult at this point to be someone who participants at least somewhat in society but still doesn't know.

Probably just older people that have no sense of whats going on in the world. Tell them about it and they just forget all about it in the next few minutes.

This is my great grandmother. She was at my grandma's funeral last year, and sometimes she remembers her daughter is dead, and sometimes she doesn't.
