Like I really like Parks and Rec..however I am always hate how they treat Jerry is just mean. Same with Toby from the office. I know it for jokes, but I just don't get how bulling seemingly okay people is funny.

Giving him absurdly hot wife and by extension hot daughters is the writers way of making up for all the bullying. Also the christmas episode. Also I like to think of it as an example of how adversity doesn't get him down. In the real world you will get bullied, but the difference is whether you let it affect you, and it's clear that jerry keeps on trucking.

some shows try to balance this by giving the bullied characters a great life, like Jerry, or making them awful people, like Dee. Then there's Meg fro Family Guy and Toby from the office where they just twist the knife.
