This is just crazy! Employers knowingly exposing employees to people with Covid and not doing a thing about it. That's corporate abuse in my opinion and you're putting profits above people's health and their life and that should not be tolerated period.

Essential worker just means a death sentence basically!

Its disturbing how many people do not wear masks going into our local store. There is a note on the door and its state law.

I had to do a server install at a hotel and the manager always had her mask below her nose, nobody on the night shift wore a mask, and none of the housekeeping staff wore masks in the back areas. This in an area where about 1 in 89 people have an active infection, and in a hotel where there's a large concentration of people from all over the US.

I kept my face covered the whole time, going outside well away from the building to get a drink or eat something and using a half a bottle of hand sanitizer.

That was over a month ago and I didn't develop any symptoms, so I think I got lucky.

No, it really doesn't. It would still require a certain amount of exposure to somebody who has it and even then you might be asymptomatic. When NY ran its test outside a grocery store, it estimated that a quarter of the state had had COVID and most weren't aware that they had had it.
