FF7 Remake has some terrible dialogue too.

Anyways is this just a random NPC encounter or what the game classifies as a side quest? Im only about 10 hours or so into it so far and the side quests that show up on the map have been fairly decent. A lot better than the filler found in Odyssey.

I mean it sounds like a humorous sidequest and I thought it was funny af. Especially when his VA is dramatic and barely able to not retch while the NPC is casually tossing a ball.

Yea it's not meant to be taken seriously at all, yet....here we are.

I just think it's dumb to criticize the writing of something and use an example of humorous side content where the devs aren't taking it seriously at all and clearly just having fun with it. Reminds me of the folk who cry about the VA and writing in FFX only to have their only example be the laughing scene. It's just...k lol.

I just get annoyed with the talking and then an awkward pause, dialogue is leagues better than KH series, but there were times when the dialogue was awkward in 7 remake.
