Believe MAMA nominations are already locked. I'm more sold on the general sound and potential talent. Supposedly more members will be added. Not sure if it's going to be some kind of NCT revolving door, but SM has gotten that to work. Momoland Ready or Not MV was better than the performance. I am questioning their direction. It seems a bit dated vs where Twice, Itzy, BP. Moo, and I guess Aespa are going. Still too much instrumentals driving the chorus. Jane on her own time is practicing far more impressive choreography. It's just like I said, I would've thought the world of this song and even the concept two years ago (yeah like Popstars), but now for me it's like yeah it's good but you're not really contributing anything to the genre. I guess maybe I was expecting too much and the wrong kind of expectations at that, which to be fair that wasn't hard to do with aespa. But like you said, it's just their debut so yeah, there's certainly plenty to look forward to. Also it's still more original than anything BP have done as of late, so there's that. A lot of what I ended up liking ended up being stuff that had to grow on me, but the realization for some is like "wow, this actually was a genius idea" Most commonly-liked tracks: Boss Baby Don't Stop Kick It Other good tracks that imo can be totally subjective: Almost all the lead singles that have an MV except for the early Dream unit stuff because that was straight up geared for a stupid cutesy kid concept. Also avoid the English renditions of stuff (like Regular). SM makes garbage translations. WayV is very underrated imo. They are an NCT subunit focused for the Chinese market, so they don't appear on many regular Korean programs. This was a very-well put performance imo, and they've got some of the best vocals in all of NCT for sure. Ten is virtually all the dancer Taeyong is but a much better singer. Thai guy, Korean agency, Chinese group, and sometimes has to speak English. Up until like last year, Mark was almost in like every damn song because he was assigned as a regular in all units but WayV. It was funny seeing how true that was when NCT was on that random dance TV show and he pretty much was in every song. Also funny when NCT did a collab with EXO in an SM stage and it's like "well shit now he's part of EXO. Ironically enough, he's in SuperM. On that note, SuperM isn't all that great imo.
