There are immediate material concerns that can be rectified by having someone in power without Trump's worldview. A sense of altruism and doing right by others before yourself will always shape better leadership than the converse, I don't care what leaning you have. Even conservative leaders like George W. Bush recognize that. How they choose to apply that is how we come to judge their leadership and effectiveness but it's still a better place to come from than being arrogant and unable to tolerate criticism. --- "It feels like I'm always wrong." From a political standpoint, sure. Biden's campaign was how he would care about people as PEOPLE. Policy aside, fixing the fact that the nation is being crushed under Trump's inaction and disregard for proper response to COVID-19 is something we can (or rather should) agree on. I don't normally harp on this (as I feel like the world as a whole hasn't truly put COVID in its place, US notwithstanding) but the excessive death count here in the US is Trump's legacy.
