But I think social media has more benefits than negatives. I think people will eventually wise up. When you combat their lies don't forget about the lurkers. Your words may not make an obvious dent in the guy you're talking to, but it can show the lurkers that there is a counter point. Never enter an argument with the goal being "Ima change this guy's mind." At best what you get is planting a seed in his mind.
