That gets the point across, without doing the exact thing that you are saying sucks.

i mean i'm assuming most people in here are familiar with some of these cases because they were relatively loud and can figure out that if i'm saying 'yeah this is the sort of stuff being pushed now' they'll get that... this is the stuff being pushed now. and that's literally it. that the shift from claims with no evidence but just suspicions are moving towards claims with evidence but where the evidence also proves investigations work and that the numbers aren't nearly enough. it's not that they're false per se, it's that they don't prove enough. that's a big difference to the people who peddle this stuff.

Important to note while we wait for a network to grow a spine, GA7 just got called by for the democrats. This is important because it represents the very first flip for the democrats this cycle outside of the two NC which were redistricted for gerrymandering. So even while house candidates struggled across the country, GA goes bluer.

I'm guessing they do, and that no (legitimate) foreign news network would make a call on their own since they're not actually doing anything than passing along that information.

I live near Atlanta so hard to say. Just locally I'd say we're a lock to flip, but obviously that's not true.

Theres a lot going for January, like I mentioned earlier. Abrams will very likely continue to help register more new, young voters over the next two months. McConnell appears he will actively damage Loeffler and Perdue's chances. Loeffler will lose non-extremist Republicans who settled for Collins, as she does not have even an inkling of a campaign outside of voting with Trump, and Trump won't be there to vote with, meanwhile people will actually know Warnock is the guy to vote for without nearly a dozen independants and other Ds on the SE ballot.

Ossof is a bit of a weaker link here, not sure if he can do it unless Perdue gets tanked by McConnell. We'll also have to deal with the inevitable damage the DNC will due by trying to force the candidates to be more center running up to the runoff, because Pelosi and her gang are hacks.

It's also going to be our first indication of what type of effect losing Trump will have on the MAGA crowd and their desire to get out there and vote.

Because if that's the case isn't it still possible for NC Senate to flip as well? The vote differential of 96,689 isn't that much different than Trump's lead of 76,737.

I'm not convinced either is truly in play, but it seems silly for it to be one and not the other. And NYTimes has NC reported at 95% reported for the presidential and 94% reported for the senate race. What is factoring into the missing 5/6%? Is that reporting from in person votes on election day or is that just an estimate of what may-or-may-not trickle in by mail?

Really, it's super unlikely to change at this point. Georgia is doing a recount though. It might be the only one that could theoretically change at this point. They should just call Alaska and North Carolina for Trump and Arizona, Nevada, and Pennsylvania for Biden.

The recount won't change Georgia. Those usually only swing things a couple hundred votes here or there. The only reason they're doing it is because Trump is a baby and they want to cover all their bases.

hm. what about Biden = Samus, Hillary = Mario? as head to head i'd say Hillary was definitely a stronger candidate, Biden has just fallen ass backwards into this situation with the year that its been.

Trump with this performance has honestly proven to being better than just "some nonsense," 2016's no fluke. he can't be dismissed as a one hit wonder. Trump might be Crono or Sephiroth. leaning Sephiroth as he always makes people forget he's actually really strong.

this just isn't an election you want to get wrong.
like you can't play around with a back and forth that's exciting, you have to have him dead to rights, with as little bullshit as possible because the last thing anybody wants is a back and forth of any kind in results. you see how bad they are with states results as they're happening live, now imagine how bad it gets if it's with the completed results and you say the election is complete. there is honestly just no rush to call the election apart from people who want to impatiently gloat. there'll be plenty of time for that and they can do it anyway, just gotta get this 100% right first.
