also, did they really just say that the Rams sideline is like 120 degree fahrenheit? Uh, that doesn't seem fair. Maybe that explains why they're basically dying out there.

I knew the Vikes game would be close but I was not expecting them to just have no answer for Cook.

I don't know if I can handle a week where the Packers potentially lose twice and America potentially loses forever

Jets played like an actual team that was trying to win today, the talent gap was just ridiculous.

This didn't look like a team that had quit, just a team that's not any good.

Chiefs are absolutely the AFC's team in the Super Bowl. NFC is still open, but nobody in the AFC is on the Cheifs' level.

basically if no one in the NFC East beats anyone except splitting their games with the division, they could win with that record

We have so many 5 win teams that are so questionable.

Saints, Bears, Packers, Rams, Titans. Are any of them any good at all?

And Buffalo has 6 and they're not either.

You can probably add the Ravens, Browns and Colts to that list too.

Chiefs, Steelers, Ravens, Seahawks, Bucs, ..... Paaackers? I feel like that top 5 is pretty clear, though.

Titans are lucky to even escape with 5 wins (they've barely beaten bad teams), the Rams can't beat anyone who isn't garbage, the Bears are a dumpster fire on offense and got crushed by the Rams, the Packers are a dumpster fire on defense, and the Saints still just don't look right but maybe Thomas will help. Ravens are good but can't win when it matters. Browns only beat on bad teams and lose to good ones. Colts are completely unstable from week to week and lost pretty badly to the aforementioned Browns.

If there's one 5 win team I have nothing in particular to point out from its Arizona.

I feel like there's way too many not good/great teams this year with good records.

The Packers hit Cook behind the line of scrimmage 12 times in the game and he still gained 52 yards on those plays. That's ridiculous.

(And the Bills have 6 wins and probably aren't better than half those teams)

Ehhh, I'm not 100% convinced the Ravens are good yet. I feel like we're giving them credit for being good last year.

The Ravens are a step below the other 4, but a step above everyone else. They're in their own tier.

AFC I would say Chiefs->Steelers-->Ravens-->Raiders

NFC Bucs->Seahawks-->Um.. Cardinals? Saints when they get some key pieces back?

Bucs and Seahawks are pretty clearly above the other NFC teams, even with losses to the Bears and Cardinals, respectively.

Overall is harder, but I think I go Chiefs->Bucs->Steelers->Seahawks-->Ravens.

Dalvin is a monster for sure, but it's a bit of both

Adam Gase has more loses by 20+ points than total wins as the Jets coach

I'm seeing all this talk that the Pats were clearly wrong to let Brady go, but would they really have been that much better this year with him? Brady left because he saw the writing on the wall with how last season went. The Pats have a talent problem, and Brady alone wouldn't have fixed that.

They'd def be better for sure but it'd just be prolonging the inevitable. They wouldn't be real contenders I think.

I've been having this conversation for a few weeks now with some friends and even spoke about it in the last topic. I don't think they'd be all that better. How did they do over their last 9 games last year with Brady and with a better team around him?
