Went all in on Cress. Used the Ascension Stone from the Barbatos Challenge to get him to +5, and maxed his board out. He just has too much utility now with the Christmas Stahn Stone, since now he can manage a consistent 3 turn AND a 2 turn MA cycle depending on what the raid is calling for.

This half anniversary quest is kind of ridiculous.

50 AP but dirt easy, can grind affinity points for weak units effortlessly. The equivilant of 30 adornment stones for every single run. And it's going on for over a month and a half, with reward insentives.

Legitimately no idea how to beat the last floor of the new tower.

Is it harder then the barbatos fight? I haven't started the tower yet

Absolutely harder, by a lot. 2 Wind units, both new Raid enemies that were encountered while climbing the tower. Each is a guaranteed party wipe if you don't break them, and they're back to back, so you have to get a 3 turn break on both in a row in the first 6 turns. Even with a Sword Grid and awakened units in the back row for increased health in defense, plus the resistance from the Earth element, they were able to OHKO individual units on just regular turns occasionally. This is with an awakened Estelle as well, and the enemy is not applying any debuffs.

And to top it off...this is all with the game giving YOU a 1.5x damage multiplier for using Earth units!

The final reward is that gold attachment ticket, and we don't know what that will buy yet.

With how insane this is, it's like the item is intended to be the Crestoria equivilant of a gold weapon in Overwatch, lol.

I can live without a golden attachment. My Earth team is definitely not going to be able to do that.

I did the three summons and got Lloyd x2, Kongwai, and Vicious. Vicious is a dupe, and the others are new.

Got a 3 SSR pull with my first summon! All new too! M. Kohaku, Aegis, and Kongwai. Really wanted Kongwai so pretty happy about that one! Wanted Kohaku as well so looking good!

Was all dupes after that. Zelos, H. Estelle, and M. Kohaku again haha. Awesome bit with this though was that I had a R stone change to H. Estelle.

So a 3 SSR pull and a stone change super close to each other. I'd say makes up a bit for my luck with the Christmas banner!

The anniversary summon itself isn't for a few weeks, after the game wide cumulative points get finalized.

Thanks, that's what I figured. These quests are a great way to acquire adornment stones. I think I'll be focusing most of my stamina on that while it's around

I wish you could exchange silver shard for silver ascension stones. I realize it seems kind of pointless, but I'm so close to completing them all...except I've only ever gotten 2 R Ravens.

I pulled again on the Christmas banner and got two more Christmas Millas. I gave her an awakening stone and she is now my third awakened SSR

Have you cleared Chapter 6? It appears after Chapter 6 on the story tab if you're viewing eveeything.

Well the EX Banner has all the Christmas units in it as well it looks like. So depends on if you want the percent boost for the Christmas units or for Barbatos. EX Banner also includes the other EX units (Dhaos, Leon, Mieu, and Mecha Asbel) which you can't get in the other banners.

So if you just want a chance at every unit available and don't care who you get, maybe the EX Banner would be the way to go.

Autoed my way through the first 30 floors but it looks like it's impossible to auto past this. I'll need to manually break both guys to keep going. I'll try to work on this tomorrow

New Years Cheria is the new best healer in the game, other than in Water content. Literally 2 full party heals and a 30% party defense buff.

This is gonna be a fucking nightmare in Arena.

Looks like one of the best banners so far. Also if you 10 multipulls on it you get an SSR summon ticket...I don't think that's happening.

Also, both of the upcoming event memorias are excellent, though Rokuro's is pretty niche, mainly just for EX Leon. High attack power even if you don't have him, though.

Floor 39 is impossible. I think my fire team is just too weak to handle this. I would feel better about floor 40 because I have great units for earth

Oh my...yeah I dont know how you're supposed to kill that Cheria. A defensive unit that buffs defense and two full party heals...I feel like she's gonna just be an auto loss for me once I start seeing some fully awakened ones.

Guess I should have saved my gleamstones for this banner! Pulled on the Christmas one more time last night and got another Sorey but now I gotta save up again! Still have 3 pulls so I think i could get a decent amount by the time this banner is done.

I MIGHT go in on the new year's gem sale. Would be the first time I put in money since Maid Rita. Depends on how much it is, have some extra cash from Christmas.

The pricing is pretty absurd, and I'll enjoy it with whatever in-game currency I accumulate.

Cheria looks really good, but I feel like I should probably start saving again. Hopefully they extend these bonuses for pulling to other banners.

I guess Cheria could have a totally fucked OL costs and cooldowns, we'll see. She's not compatible with any turn by turn OL boosting Memoria. She can start with 80 using SSR Reid, that's it.

Hm. So how many characters do you guys have at level 50 affinity? Just saw a reddit thread that's using the 1/2 AP cost story mission to grind affinity points for characters. They were using gleamstones to refill AP since the amount you receive from leveling affinity will outpace what you spend refill AP.

Had S. Rutee at level 49 and she was gonna be my 5th for that extra 1,000 gleamstone reward. Didn't take long at all (though I did accidentally level up and didn't get to maximize BP/AP usage) and now I see there's another reward for having 7 characters at level 50...Misella and Estelle are in the 40s for me...wouldn't take too long to get them to 50 I think lol

I have 6. Kronos is at 44, he will likely be next.
