Yeah I had a couple days where I couldn't do raids but was stockpiling the cocktails. Blew through them in the last couple days and I'm at over a million now too. Still working on it as well.

6 mil we're done.

Wanted it to be over with before the week turned over lol.

I think it's a fair first impression, but she comes into her own quickly once you get into town.

On the Mania raids;

Sword grid, period. Even if you're AIDing and trying to rush points, you'll die before getting anything worthwhile with a dual lade grid.

Fire - totally fucked, would recommend spending gold medals to get Alvin.

Wind - also theoretically rough, but poison is way less serious then burn, if you have a full party healer MA you can survive pretty easily, especially with the earth units general lean towards survivability.

Water - not hard with a healer, but artes lock means there's no point trying to line up your OLs. Go for individually strong units and Memoria.

Earth - easiest by far. Line up your OLs and if you have a full party healer just put it on Auto.

Dark and Light - fuck it.

It's not too hard to party wipe on both with a full swird grid Estelle team on Very Hard, much less this.

Pretty sure the only way you're getting anywhere with those is a DerpCat/Teal style evasion team.

Yeah I haven't gotten a chance to really get into the normal raids other than the wind one and I just experienced that. Running a sword grid with Estelle and one run on a very hard light raid I soloed it and next one my party was almost wiped. No way am I gonna be doing some of those mania raids lol

Pointing out that this game is built to have two more difficulties higher than this Mania.

MAN this Barbados challenge is really trying to justify the "heal between waves" ascension skills.

Pulled it all off though. Only missed 2 missions which I won't be doing, not worth the 20 gemstones in a million years.

Yeah I was able to clear them all without dying except that last one. I had a full health team going into wave 3 but he knocked me down to only 2 units remaining when I dealt the final blow. That healing reduction status effect is rough :(

I did it with Mieu - M. Kohaku - Kanata - Estelle with summer rutee and chronos in the backup, but they weren't max ascended or anything so you could really throw anyone back there and it wouldn't have mattered

Also all the bosses were immune to Wildfire so Mieu wasn't optimal probably, I just used him to beef up my Kanata on break turns. If I had Milia or Dhaos or something I would've thrown them in instead of Mieu but I don't have a single light unit besides the two I listed so I had to make due

Also I'm a major idiot. So I got my ascension stone at the end and decided I'd max ascend my summer rutee who was currently at 3/5. I had a level 50 stone of hers that I'd been keeping around since I was using it in my sword grid but figured I could replace it to get her max ascended now. So I go to unlock her stone and by sheer muscle memory just convert her stone immediately after without thinking ...

At least I don't have to find a filler stone to get rid of next month now, I guess -_- but it will set me back a month on getting my other characters going

I have one awakening stone and two ascension stones that I haven't decided what to do with yet. I tried to pull Christmas Mikleo but got Christmas Sorey instead so that will be one of the two stones I cash in next month

yeah, this event won't be a bad one to farm for guild contribution if it can possibly grab a couple more of that stone.

This one won't have guild contributions, the gimmick this time is some kind of item summons.

But yeah it would be DAMN nice to get two of those, but considering I got 2.1 million points this time and only 1 extra SSR stone...not counting on it.

Yeah, best I've done is 3/5 on a second Annie stone. That was just me getting lucky and not actually farming for it though. Considered trying to finish it up but didn't feel worth it to me.

I didn't mean to suggest farming for it. More along the lines of it being an extra benefit when grinding the guild points, but that's irrelevant this time

Just got the 25 summon tickets from the anniversary special which brought me up to 40. Decided to do a "mini" summon before blowing all my summon tickets/gleamstones on these upcoming events...and it finally happened...
A goddamn fire SSR! And Misella too which is great. I've almost fully awakened all the SR Fire units before finally getting one...and technically I could fully awaken Senel right now and Bruiser would be fully awakened too if I didn't choose to max his stone instead which leaves just Lailah.

Also got Milla in that bunch which is also cool! I want to get Christmas Milla so hopefully this is a sign of things to come?

Misella is a great unit. I've seen some people say she's just an undercooked healer, but they aren't using her right. Max out an SR Arche Memoria, and she ends up with very decent attack power, a lower cooldown heal, and a low cooldown decent attack skill, plus the Mystic Arte bonus damage from Arche makes her great to put towards the end of your fire team as a finishing attack in a combo. The naturally high defense and health mean you don't have to worry about survivability even with Arche being an attack fonused Memoria.

Oh yeah I love Misella! Back when I had absolutely no healer I said fuck it, and bought up a bunch of SR Misella stones and fully awakened SR Misella so she could be my healer for my arena team. The +11% defense boost she gives, plus the HP she gets from awakened Zaveid, plus even more HP from SSR Ruca stone makes her one of my harder units to take down.

Of course now that I'm ranking in the 700-1000 range she isn't as good due to not being able to hit as hard as I sometimes need to. Especially when I run into those beefy Estelle's. So I might sub her out but her awakened skill is quite nice to have.

Nice pull! I hope to get Christmas Milla also.

I didn't notice the 25 ticket quest so I started running a few of the lowest level event quests and got my first SSR stone drop. You'd think the higher levels would have better odds

Misella is definitely a little underpowered for Arena, but she's amazing on a fire team for anything that requires one. I also run her on my hyper defensive sword grid team as well for autoing mania raids. Slow and steady wins the race quite often with those, just not dying will get me top contribution after 20 minutes more often then you'd expect lol. And that team is Kohaku - Dark Zelos - Estelle - Misella. With my two best damage dealers that aren't hyper glass cannon in the back (Kanata and S. Rutee), just to eke out some extra contribution because if one of the frontline does end up dying then typically the house of cards starts to unravel pretty shortly after anyway

My math is making me super frustrated with how this event raid lines up in terms of the Stahn OL Memoria, OL costs of the earth SSRs (including ascension board boosts), and it being a 4 turn break.

Cress is incapable of lining up his MAs to turn 4 because he an't get get his MA to turn 2. Edna and Maid Rita would be except I gave them the OL boost on their boards, so now they get it too fast. Summer Veigue can hit it, but he's shit for raids. The new Milla is great, but it's a heal MA so it lining up spent matter. I don't have Yuri.

So really it's just Lloyd...who because it's a 4 turn doesn't need the Stahn Memoria, ironically meaning the Stahn Memoria serves absolutely. No purpose in this raid other than for the event bonus.

Ermine please buy the Earth Guild Boost it will change so much ;_;

Gonna try running Christmas Arche on my arena team to see if she can be a good replacement for Summer Rutee for my nuke squad. Currently sitting on Luke/Kanata/Xmas Arche/Chronos
