Depends entirely on the age/circumstances. Generally, divorced, because that means I stop being married voluntarily. If we're happily enough married to not want to get divorced, I'd generally prefer that she not die. If we're old enough, though, and her death is pretty reasonable and natural, that loss would be preferable to a divorce at the same point.

Probably won't happen to me - I'll end up dying first.

But I would much rather be a widower. So much less baggage than having to deal with a split family.
