Does anyone know or has had their life ruined by some bitch that just straight up lied about being sexually assaulted?

If so, how did it affect your or his/her life?

I've never seen or witnessed something like that, but I cannot imagine the humiliation of being wrongfully accused?

Usually attention and/or compulsive lying. Sometimes there's a more immediate practical motivation, like trying to get out of trouble for missing curfew or something like that.

Largely untrue, given that it's a speculative claim with ambiguous criteria. It would be like claiming that only 1% of all false accusations are actually discovered to be false. While it could be true, there's no way to reliably determine that so therefore the claim can't be made with measure of accuracy (or veracity).
