Everyone should be a confident, charismatic, go getter. If youre not, you should be working toward it. Im not saying you have to be an extrovert, but I am saying that those are important characteristics to practice, and have.

It is not really true, it is just that society places the burden of initiating on the man.
Women sometimes feel like making eye contact and subtle gestures should be enough to let a man know her interest and shy guys will totally miss all that.

Then sometimes women get burned trying to initiate and give up. Men get burned too but have no viable hope if they give up.

Also, most dudes won't like a woman who can barely respond when they try to talk her up. Same for women.

Doubtful since a man without confidence is a major turn off to women, even the ones that claim they find it endearing will not find it as such over time.

Shy men need to do something about it or they will not do well or go far with women.
