Why didn't the Karen get charged for the haircut? It's not the hairdresser's fault Karen was a bitch, she got like half a haircut for free. As the hairdresser said, she wasted time and product on the Karen, she should have demanded payment.

In any case, definitely the hairdresser's side. Why the fuck would someone side w/ the Karen? She assaulted the hairdresser!

I find it ironic that there's a sign in the background that says "This is our happy place." How befitting.

Ok, I did not watch the whole video, cause I couldn't stand either of em.

But a few things right from the start. That was a hair saloon, where you make appointments (and pretty much you always make apointments to get your hair colored), they cost significantly more than just a normal haircut if you didn't know, and most people (ladies in my experience but i'm sure some guys use it) make an apointment with a specific hair stylist that they know.

That appears to be the case here as the Karen basically stated, I'm paying you though, and stated she didn't want someone else to work on her hair. I didn't hear her say anything racist....but again, I didn't listen to the whole thing. Also older ladies like that often lightly "punch" someone, not in an offensive way (there was no force behind it), but just as a kidding type thing (not even sure where it comes from, but I have known ladies who do that).

She wasn't trying to hurt the hairstylist from what I saw.

Honestly I think the Hairstylist was more of a Karen than..well....the customer...but I just couldn't watch long enough to see (I did get through the point where the Karen Stylist asked her to leave with only half her hair colored.

IF the customer was upsetting you, stop freaking talking to the customer and just do your job, which she made an appointment for, and then don't make any appointments for her in the future. The customer does not HAVE to allow someone else to work on the hair, and you should certainly let the customer know before the appointment if you plan on having that happen.

Perhaps they were both Karen's but from the little I saw, I actually disliked the hair stylist more.

Light friendly punching is one thing, but thats not what it looked like from my perspective...
