I think so. In most cities I've lived in, houses and apartments in the downtown area are the oldest, cheapest, and junkiest.

I would love to come onto the street right into a bunch of people lol

But I also want land to do whatever the **** I want :(

I liked the view and being able to walk to a lot of places when I lived in a downtown area

I like the space I have right now without having to donate both of my kidneys by moving 8 miles away slightly more though

Also living off a major street downtown led to a lot of noise from random honking and car racing after midnight, and I don't miss that either

I'd like to live downtown for the aesthetic I think. Or any urban area really. My dream home would be a loft or something that's really high up with a nice view.
