Long story is that you presumably have at least some duration of immunity to the virus that infected you, probably for at least a couple months, but it's uncertain how long it will last.

There are two ways you can lose this immunity: 1) you stop being able to mount a rapid immune response with this antibody, and 2) the virus mutates to evade your immune response. Adaptive immunity works by the production of antibodies that recognize an antigen, in this case some part of the virion. So long as you're able to mount an immune defense with that specific antibody (i.e. the surface of the virion doesn't change), your adaptive immunity will be able to rapidly neutralize the infection, thanks to memory B cells which act like an imprint of the previous infection and quickly ramp up production of the correct antibody. While these memory B cells can last for decades, they fade over time, and at different rates for different diseases, for reasons not precisely known. In the second case described above, you might still have the original imprinted memory B cell, but it no longer recognizes the mutated virus' surface, and so it's as if you never had it (and developed immunity) in the first place.

I wonder if Rona's seen the same hit to their business that Corona beer has. It's obviously hard to tell against the background of the hit that every business has taken (though I believe hardware stores have been considered essential and stayed open, and a number of people have taken lockdown time as an opportunity to do some home improvement, so maybe they haven't had that), and the association is a lot less clear, but I would imagine anyone stupid enough to think that Corona beer actually has anything to do with Covid might think the same of Rona.

Fun Fact: Alfred Yankovic's first song to be played on the radio was Belvedere Cruisin'. It aired on Dr. Demento in 1976.

Hard telling. The only thing you can rely on is that anything the CDC announces is wrong three weeks later.

Ill ask around. I know some people that work at one.

I cant even believe Corona took a hit. I mean, there are better Mexican beers, so in that sense sure, but I dont see how even the dumbest human could come to the conclusion that the beer is the same as the virus.

I legitimately thought people were joking when they started talking about it back when this whole mess was starting. Sometimes, human stupidity can be truly astounding.
