Im really not a fan of trying to retcon every detail of a franchise to fit into the meme culture.
stuff like the EU making up dumb bullshit about parsecs and black holes instead of just running with Han being a sleazy liar. (Or the movie giving his name an origin story lmao) the line delivery was goofy but its fine in the context of the story.
