BakonBitz 10/10/20 12:46:03 AM #1:	Been using that for playing my music on the go for years and was totally free outside of buying the music from the app store, which I didn't mind. Now with it being discontinued everyone using it is forced to use Youtube Music, which now needs a subscription fee to have the same functionality Google Play Music had. Free Spotify is great on PS4, just an ad every 5 tracks or so. Haven't tried it on PC. Free Spotify on mobile is a nightmare though. For ages I didn't switch over to YTM because of a bunch of early issues with the app. In particular I didn't like the idea that any song I "liked" would appear on my youtube likes, and any YT video tagged as music would count as a "like" for YTM. So I ended up migrating my main channel to a brand account and using my personal channel exclusively for YTM and not for actual youtube. It annoyed me when I upgraded to the family plan and lost my ad free YouTube in favor of YT Music, but I dealt with it. Them killing off a perfectly good music app to move to an inferior one because reasons was enough to push me to Spotify, which is pretty damn awesome.
