One of my extended family members were talking about how George Floyd was a bad person because he was on meth when he died and I was like, half our family does drugs but even if you think that makes them bad you don't say that kind of stuff about them. And she was like it wouldn't bother me if we did! And I was like, Lena, your dad was the biggest meth head I knew before he died and she was like you keep his name out of your mouth or this will get ugly

I'm so glad my immediate family is fairly left. My girlfriend's family on the other hand her dad and I were having a conversation about BLM then he started saying a bunch of racist shit and how the group is inherently violent. Then he threatened me physically so I just walked away lol
