Running the benchmark and haven't gone below 75fps yet at 1080p

But my computer sounds like it's about to launch into space, should I be concerned

I'm new to this. It's a prebuilt.

What exactly do you mean?

I hope I can get my hands on a Zen 3 CPU soon (launching as soon as next week possibly). I just got a 3080 and they can run RDR2 at 100 FPS average at my resolution of 1440p and ultra settings and I can't fucking wait to do that

That's not a bad rig all in all, I'm using a 3800x and 5700XT on my current rig and yeah this card slays at 1080p.

You can set your CPU Fan Curve in your BIOS by pressing Delete while it's very first booting up (A process called POST) and you can right click your desktop, go to AMD Radeon Software -> Performance -> Tuning and turn on the one called Fan Tuning. I use a relatively cool and undervolted XT, but yours could look something like this too.

I legitimately bought a new graphics card (RTX 2070 Super) to play that game because my SLI'd 970s were not cutting it at all.

And then I played it for maybe five hours and haven't touched it since -_-

And just a few heads up looking at your prebuilt;

1: It uses a water block/pump! I cannot find out which model on the website which is alarming but please look up youtube tutorials on how/when to change the liquid and install some temperature monitors (CPU Temp is a good one) to run in your tray! When the pump dies the system will get hilariously unstable on you and fast. It's good to know when this is happening.

2: Highly recommended grabbing another 1TB SSD Drive for general purpose gaming storage. Using only one drive for a computer isn't always recommended. Nice to have a different drive for backup saves, documents, important stuff etc in case the main SSD goes the way of the dodo.

Thanks for the heads up on the liquid. I kinda figured it wasn't anything to worry about.

And I put a 2TB HDD in it for storing most of my older games with the SSD being saved for stuff like RDR2 and next gen titles. I plan on getting more SSD space in the next year or so if prices go down enough. I want at least 2TB but I might settle for 1TB.

I watched a YouTube video where a guy ran it at high settings at 1440p and 4k and still had pretty good performance with the same CPU and GPU

TC are you using M+KB or controller? When I did try it out, with the controller, you had to tap a button repeatedly to make the horse gallop... is it like that on the keyboard? >_>

That case looks terrible for airflow

Because it appears to be designed for the pump/block setup it has in it.

It is really satisfying when you get a game that is alleged to have bad performance and your rig just nails it.

The GPU needs airflow more than the CPU

It hasn't been bad so far, three fans in it and the top is like this weird mesh kinda material that air goes through

This and Flight Simulator were the only games to make it sound like a space shuttle so far. I expected it with FS though.

Sea of Thieves, Modern Warfare, Halo, GTAV haven't been too loud

I didn't start playing yet, just ran the benchmark and had to get off and do stuff. I'll probably play with controller cause it's what I'm used to

It blew GTA4 and 5 away too, I was hesitant cause I've always heard Rockstar sucks at PC ports

It runs above 60 fps with everything maxed on my laptop at 1080p, and that's good enough for me

Wow I just had a lot of issues with GTA4 when I last tried that. Just didn't seem smooth at all.
