I would be happier with Pence. That said, Trump dying isn't enough, and Trump losing isn't enough. The republicans need to be absolutely destroyed in this election not only to discourage them from ever going down this path again, but also to undo the anti democratic structural changes that have been made, and to institute major structural changes to make the US more democratic to begin with.

Until he actually gets voted out, and accepts it (and doesn't say voter fraud etc and try and block it etc), I won't get my hopes up. Dude should not have won last time by all accounts, he actually seemed less popular than any other candidate I have seen in my life (30+ years as an adult). Nobody thought he could win, but he did.
