finally getting around to translating the Chapter 6 banners

a bit iffy on translating "", as per jisho, "latter part (of book, etc.); sequel; concluding part ". Assuming it might just mean part as in part of the story overall, but it could mean Chapter 6 is broken into parts like 5 was..... I'm just thrown off starting with the the latter/concluding part instead of the first (as far as I remember, not seeing previous Chapter 6 images yet)

that blanket 15% DEF is really annoying but thankfully she doesn't outheal damage as easily.

... hrm, was about to do the same thing for the groupings of SSRs, groupings of SRs, and Rs... and then I realized... I think they removed the Alisha's SSR art from the datamine? I can't find it anymore in this refreshed batch, nor can I even find the Raven + Alisha banner either. Alisha's Mystic Art assets are still in though

and for the record the complete fantasy group is fit in right between the SRs and the Rs (you'll notice last pic in the SRs group stops at file name RGBA_69, fantasy group starts at RGBA_70 and ends at RGBA_373, and Rs group starts at RGBA_374)

Another thing you'll notice is that the new Dhaos face pic appears under the fantasy group.... BUT, that asset was always there. The new asset is actually the duplicate file Dhaos that's shown up in the SRs group, that wasn't there before... but again that doesn't mean Dhaos is an SR since you'll also find Evil Stahn there as he's always been, from the Stahn side-chapter, so ofc I think the most logical guess right now is just Enemy Dhaos

okay so I still wasn't finished with going over this stuff for the night, I finally went over the Placeholder character profile pics

Follow the imgur links for the individual uploads of the placeholders and my translations of them. I also map the given character IDs to any model data if they exist.

Now... the "SR" group... doesn't necessarily mean they are SR placeholders. Mieu and Barbatos, both known EXs, are in that second group... HOWEVER they both have another similarity that they don't share with the rest - they don't have red placeholder pictures, they have their names slapped over a Velvet pic for whatever reason.

Anyhow, a bunch of "placeholders" are for already existing characters (Ordinary Kanonno/Rita/Chronos, Halloween Asbel/Estelle), but a bunch are new and completely unknown to us before (White Day alts).

also as noted I was confused that SSR grouping Gaius's placeholder didn't match the character ID of the existing Gaius until I realized the existing Gaius is for Xillia 2 - the placeholder is for Xillia 1. The reverse applies to the Milla Maxwell found in the SR grouping.

Uhhhhhhh OK even the first battle is harder than anything in the tower, and I just wiped on the second.

Beat the first 3 in first try and then started struggling with Dhaos. Changed team up and beat level 4 and then had a hard time with level 5. Had to do some messing around a bunch until I could kill him off the first break. I imagine this would be a LOT easier with Leon, but alas. Still got it tho eventually :)

Had to shard up for awakened Kanata since I needed that just a bit of extra damage to be able to one shot him off the break lol

If you don't one shot him off the break, he'll use Judgment on like turn 6 and it's a full team wipe no matter what.

Oh, apparently it's a bug. I thought it was intended that you had to one shot him after the break. He'll be a LOT easier when this is fixed lol

I think my problem is just not having a full judas grid, my dualblades grid has a lot of dead weight on it. I don't have enough damage to break him without using mystic artes to do it and by that point there's nothing left to pelt him with

If breaking him actually prevents him from casting that 1 shot move then it should be an easy win

It doesn't

If you break him and don't kill him he'll almost always use the OHKO on turn 6 anyways. I would many time break him but only get him down to 10-20% HP and then he one shots me.

I had to do it in a way where I broke and STILL had enough MA and damage left to one shot off the break. Breaking on turn 4 (the last chance you can break) is difficult without spending many resources. I think my success run had a crit with Stahn's Beast which helped break him sooner on the break turn.

I've been noticing a lot more people with my AoE setup with Chronos/Kanata/Luke and some with Dhaos, either substituting for one of my 3 or as the 4th member.

Some combination of Chronos, Kanata, Luke, Dhaos, Emil and Norma is a pretty common team comp that I have come across
