aughhhh this keeps happening to me whenever I scavenge up a VH host

... aid button bugged again and I'm realizing this also means I can't retire from the raid either so I gotta wait an hour

I've also had this issue occur to me while I was aiding someone else's quest so it wasn't even my host to begin with

I just got solo'd by an estelle who could out-heal (or dodge) a full group of 4's damage

I really hate evasion so much

I got into one Arena fight where I got it down to just an Estelle with me having 4 units still and it took another 8 MINUTES (on the clock at least, haven't played of 2x speed in forever lol) to actually win. Had to time it so she had both just used BOTH her heals at the same time, and I had to make sure every ability was off cooldown. If Maid Rita hadn't landed poison I would have timed out.

NEVER save Estelle for last. Even if you're fighting a bunch of glass cannons and knocking dudes down left and right before she can heal them, the absolutely worst thing you can fight is a fully Ascended max Board Estelle that's by herself.

I love when Estelles are out up front in the party since I either wildfire destroy, or next 2 turns I'll take her out with my Chronos & Emil

also been getting Norma + Vicious SR ascended teams with her to ramp up that HP further

I once had left Estelle for last. I had to time all the cooldowns right, and get a burn hit to take her down with 30 seconds left.

The most obnoxious one was her paired with awakened Jude and Milla for an absurd amount of hp

she had Jude & Milla but I checked and had a sigh of relief they weren't awakened since I've experienced that kind of full light party before

unfortunately that sigh was still premature

yeah I always take out estelle on priority. do an aoe so the AI will heal another character then whoop on estelle asap

Was so worried about this raid going in, but I've been managing fine. What I had to realize that filling in my missing SSR Earth slot with an SR wasn't the answer, I needed a unit that could fall into place with the 3 turn MA count and provide hit gen.



With this team I'm guaranteed to get a full party MA chain on every single break. Always hits a 3 turn cycle, which it's breaks gauge always falls on (3, 9, 15, etc), and there's no risk of falling out of step by gaining too much OL from crits. Leon's ability hit gen is low, but his MA has tons. Dhaos would be even higher, but would require the Magilou Memoria to stay in line and his survivability is just too low in this situation, and I don't have the patience to constantly swap Keele out between him and Estelle to counteract that.

I also went ahead and opened Leon's evasion blocks since he definitely has died a few times in Aids. I always take a support character when aiding to max DPS, when starting a raid I keep in Estelle in case no assistance comes.

Leon is universally good for this for every 3 turn raid. It's pointless for 4 turn raids, but the whole party potentially would need a shakeup for those. Would put Ludger or Dhaos in his place in that case.

So really I'm thankful for this raid for making me realize that just putting a bunch of SSRs from the proper element in isn't going to always be the best option.

Of all those only Vicious is new for me. I was hoping for at least 1 Fire SSR somewhere or Estelle but no luck!

By adorning almost all of my Judas stones, I actually almost have Repede at 6K attack lol...

Don't think I'll reach it ever tho, unless I get like 15 Ricther stones randomly.

Looking at that link:

Estelle just seems absurd. Need to see the Cooldowns because that's absolutely an insane unit.

Asbel looks like balanced mix of Raid and Arena utility. Not a damage dealer, but great effects and spread. Reminds me a lot of Maid Rita, though he lacks the regular full party attack which I think still ranks her higher in Arena for disrupting the AI healing.

.........ughhhhhh man I'm so torn on this now lol.

As for Asbel, yeah he's definitely better than Rita in Raids, especially since most raids are poisonproof. Also Dark and Light characters are always by default gonna be slightly biased in favor of for usability in all elements.

Stahn and Chronos boards nearly complete, just need some raid mats for. Both which I'll get after the weekly reset So I'm getting medals as well.

.....I'm about to have a loooooooooot of adornment stones. If the 4th goes up by 20 as well I would assume 160 of each <_<

I hope there's a way to increase your inventory in the future besides spending 20 gemstones per fucking slot.

Adornment stones come a lot easier than initially thought. I've been spending most of them as I get them. I don't think it is very useful to hoard them
