A coworker of mine donated a letterboard sign last year. At first it read "according to alcohol, chemistry is a solution" which I always thought was dumb and making light of alcohol addictions. So, earlier this year I changed it to "our health over your feelings" because of the fact I saw people with my own eyes not giving a fuck about wearing masks. You couldn't possibly say I was wrong.

For one day, as the assistant manager retired I had up "Good Bye Cindy Stay Retired!"

But when I set it back up I put up a new zinger, which I am proud of

"conspiracy theories are the hoax"

Why? I've had people say straight to my face they don't believe in masks or coronavirus, so not only is this fitting, I feel like the people who are conspiracy nuts may think this sign is yet another piece of evidence in the worldwide rich person cabal or whatever, and that puts a smile on my face.

I could. Putting it up that way is kind of cringe-y and confrontational.

There are ways to phrase things that basically make the same point but makes you look like less of an asshole.

I feel like, if I walked into a liquor store and saw any of the sort of signs you're putting up, I'd probably stop going there and just go somewhere else.

I get people on the regular melting down over being told they need a mask or being asked to actually cover their nose. A guy I work with is retiring an entire year early because he is tired of customers abusing and threatening him when he enforces mask requirements. People melt down on the regular over it. I feel like if grown adults can melt down(or in the case of one person, return with a mask that said "fuck you" while doing face scratch middle fingers after being asked to wear a mask) what the hell is one sign saying something?

Ive had a few people tell me they like the signs, I haven't had any pushback from people but the sign isn't super large or visible.
