i've been WFH since late march - i was planning on booking a table to go back into my office for a day since i've started a new role with a new team, and we planned to go in next thursday to actually see each other

but looks like UK might be going into another lockdown soon so that might not happen :|

tbh i save so much more money by staying at home so i like it

Potential president Joe Biden promises to listen to the scientists and that means the U.S. will be going into a nationwide lockdown in January or February due to a very aggressive strain of the flu that will emerge and be coupled with the already present Covid-19.

WFH since March also. No word yet on when they want us back in the office. But I dont plan on going back. I plan on asking my boss for 100% remote. Shes been 100% remote since before the pandemic. Though theres new management now so if they decline it then Ill probably look for another job.

Same here, I've heard through the grapevine that Senior Management currently has us tabbed to continue doing so through the end of the year. However due to the pathetic response by the American government I fully expect us to continue until at least into late spring

Not fully. From about March till July I was going in like twice a week. Building was empty and it was nice being pretty much the only person there.

The last few months though, I've been mainly at home

if i wasn't joining a new team, i wouldn't want to go back in office either. maybe like one or two days a month but i can do everything from the comfort of my home

although vamp, a january return to office is weird since that's around the height of flu season

USA, I'm work in tech so I was WFH for a while near the holidays and afterwards bc my manager at the time is a cool chill person. Then COVID hit and I've been home with corporate extending WFH until 2021 at the earliest

oh that's cool. it's a good mix of being able to relax at home and then go out when you need to

yeah i'm getting used to it as well, ideally i would be in office a few days a month. i mean i get hot lunches at home, sleep in longer, cheaper commuting costs and now i've started having breakfast

I've been WFH since February and our office actually shut down at the end of june (lease was up anyways and we were debating renewing it anyways, covid made that decision a lot easier).

I love it. I moved out to the middle of nowhere in a super nice apartment for basically the same rent I was paying close to the city. Haven't worn anything other than pajamas/athletic shorts during the workday since February. Waking up later not having to shower and commute.

Hope I never set foot into an office ever again.
