I think this is shaping up to be the best new Crash game in 15 years, at least. I liked characters like Nina Cortex and Crunch, and I like Twinsanity and Tag Team Racing. Hell, I liked Crash Bash. But even with some of the new gameplay sections and stuff that look a bit out of place, this is probably the best return to form in Crash's tumultuous history. Activision can still fuck this up, because it's Activision. I can't wait for the premium currency that lets you skip levels, or for the final three worlds of the game (out of six) to be individual paid DLC packs. But let's be real here - aside from a few quirky QoL features, this game really doesn't look that bad. --- There are no pan-asian supermarkets down in hell, so you can't buy Golden Boy peanuts. The ps2 Ratchet games (and Jak and Daxter) were always 40 at launch. Never 50. And Ratchet even had online. Now it has no online and its 20 dollars more? Obviously the Ratchet games don't need online but it should have kept the ten dollar discount. 50 and not 60. The whole point of a demo is to give people a taste of the game before they buy it to see if they want to play the full game. I never would have bought Killzone or Ratchet and Clank 3 back in the day if I didn't enjoy their demos so much. Though I will say that I hope mid-level cutscenes aren't too prevalent, they do kinda jack up the flow a bit.
