Advokaiser 09/06/20 3:08:06 PM #1:	Welcome to Rivalry Rumble ~ Board 8 Edition! This is a contest made to determine the greatest rivalry --fictional or not-- as decided upon by you, the Board 8-ers! Rules: 1._Vote for your favorite rivalry(ies). You don't have to vote on both matches, but it'd be cool if you did! 2._Traditional rules apply: No alts, no rallying, no cheating of any kind. 3._Topics will last for exactly 24 hours since the moment of posting. He is a Changeling, capable of assuming any shape he wishes, but usually assumes a shape of a male adult humanoid. He was found in the Denorios Belt, brought back to the planet Bajor by the Cardassians (who maintained a military occupation of Bajor), and raised in a laboratory by a Bajoran scientist, Doctor Mora. Odo yearns to find his own people, but when he finally does, he is less than pleased to discover that they rule the Gamma Quadrant with an iron fist. Quark is the owner of a bar. Like most of his species (with the notable exceptions of his brother Rom and eventually his nephew Nog), he is extremely greedy and willing to do whatever it takes to acquire more latinum, and his often legally questionable means repeatedly brings him into conflict with Odo. Quark does, however, display a moral code on several occasions during the series, electing to save lives rather than obtaining monetary benefit. Sisko also considers Quark an anchor to the merchant community and social potpourri of the station and repeatedly takes steps to keep him in operation on the station. -Wikipedia Scott Pilgrim vs. The World (Scott Pilgrim vs. The World) Scotts franchise is a highly-successful comic book, with a highly-successful movie adaptation and a very well-received videogame with a killer soundtrack. Scott is an average, troubled teenager carried away by hormones, as well as the rest of his friends, some of which are part of a rad, videogame-based band called Sex Bob Omb. Scott eventually has a huge and instant crush with Ramona Flowers, a girl that has had 7 evil exes which Scott must defeat in order to stay with her. I dont know about you, but Scott Pilgrim vs. The World is one of the greatest movies ever made: its got videogame references, cool music, great humor and a lot of artistic creativity. The way you see Scott face seven foes more powerful than him is really awesome as well. -Advokaiser MATCH 2: Phoenix Wright vs. Miles Edgeworth (Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney) Do you know Board 8? If you do, then theres no need to introduce these two characters here. Phoenix/Miles managed to earn a 1-seed back in the original Rivalry Rumble, but it only got as far as Round 2. Lets see what happens here. -Advokaiser Professor X vs. Magneto (X-Men) In a world where humans and mutants live divisively and with fear of one another, a pair of mutant companions eventually divide themselves as well by having a very different point of view about the right way to use the mutants powers. Charles Xavier and Magneto often try to stop each others actions, Charles being the one who wants to make a better world by establishing peace between humans and mutants, while Magneto wants to make mutants be the rulers of it all. Despite the many conflicts they get involved in by the aforementioned, they still respect each other very much and have fond memories of their young selves.
