According to statistics, 76% of people have dialed 911 before..although it's not just for police but because they called for the fire dept cause of a fire or an ambulance for someone who needs help so at some point most people will have dialed 911 in their lifetime...have you yet?..

one time I was driving thru Jersey City at night and there was this old dude crossing the street and he just fucking fell and hit his head, i pulled over and ran thru traffic (dumb idea) to get him off the ground and move him to a bench, dude had so much blood coming from his forehead, he had no idea where he was. i called 911 and there was an ambulance like a block away and they came and took him. they asked him who the president was and he said "reagan"

i always wonder if he had ID on him and if he didnt how they would have found out who he is because he didnt seem to know

that was the only time zen called 911

once, i saw this group of people fighting on the subway (fisticuffs/slapping style), delaying the train

it was a real fucking difficult call because i knew the cops a) wouldn't be able to do anything in time and b) might just make things worse when they got there

but there were a bunch of weenies shouting "somebody call the police ;( ;( ;( and apparently were too incompetent to do it themselves

thankfully the gladiators took the fight off of the train so we could go forward. when the cops asked for my name i politely declined and hung up

actually! i almost forgot the time i dialed 911 when my appendix was exploding. that helped me out, to the tune of a $1500 bill.

Never. The cops called me once though. Just things with my brother that I talk about on Discord occasionally (in case someone sees me and wonders what the hell I got into, there's the short version)

Yes -- other.

I call fairly routinely when I find road debris that demands a crew to come clean it up. Can be natural, like a downed tree branch, or something that fell off a truck.

Someone had a heart attack when I was working at Lowe's and for some reason, I had to be the one to call. I almost forgot all about that.
