AvantgardeAClue 09/02/20 2:17:57 AM #1:	It's obvious that they're desperately waiting for Microsoft to announce the Series X price so they could pull a PS4 and announce their PS5 at around $100 less, but these consoles are supposed to be out in like 2 months and some people probably need time to put some money aside if Sony hopes they get it anytime soon People buying the Series X probably didn't have the PS5's price affecting their decision either way --- Sometimes I say things and I'm not voice acting. <cite>AvantgardeAClue posted [p:944106294] in Sony just ... They know revealing all their cards too early would give Sony plenty of time to react. Darmik 09/02/20 2:23:49 AM #8:	They're both wanting the other one to announce to undercut the other. Microsoft does have the advantage with the Series S. Remains to be seen if they can get on parity or under the PS5 with the Series X though. The hardware is a bit pricier than Sony's. Microsoft can't wait much longer either since leaks seem to indicate they'll be out a week or two before PS5. I think if Microsoft can successfully hide the existence of the Series S until Sony reveals the PS5 price, they can successfully undermine Sony. A lot of people would want a cheaper, new Xbox.
