I would like the idea if I thought it would work out the way youre saying (as long as it doesnt affect me or my job, and with way less automation). But I honestly dont see the world through a fantasy filter like that. I only see what the world currently is...

Robots have to be programmed to do something. Meaning it will always do it the same. Where in the case of a chef, he can make the same dish, but change it ever so slightly to make it fit two different people better. And they can do it without even asking if they know the person well enough.
Uh...no. Robots can programmed to do it however you program them to. You can program in variance. You can probably connect it to a network of the persons food choices and determine an expected flavor profile and alter the dish to be exactly what their specific taste buds prefer the most. Additionally, robots can get to know you even better than people can. People don't understand each other through magic, they do it through processes our brains carry out. Similar processes or even the exact same ones can be done by robots.

There is literally not anything a person can do that a robot couldn't because people are in essence very complicated biological robots. This includes creative things like art and music. When the brain does creative stuff, it doesn't just magic ideas out of thin air, it uses processes on accumulated information to arrive at new ideas.

The only other thing I really have to address is that the government will collect the taxes but both the rich and the poor will want that money going back out to the poor where it will just come right back to the rich. That's the only way the rich get that money back. Otherwise the government invests it into the military or space exploration or something else meaningless to the CEOs out there.

The fucked up thing is a lot of those rich people aren't even all that happy. Theres things like medical research that would help them just as much as the rest of us.

The alternative is most of the human race which probably includes you and me just die off because we aren't relevant to the rich and possibly threaten their power so lets hope the world is a little more fantasy than you think.

Maybe. Though, even if possible (which is may not be), that won't be for a while...

What's funny about that is that seems to always be a problem with robots, even in fiction. All they can do is process. But they never really fully understand emotions and stuff. I don't really think they'd understand us better, tbh... I think it would be too much computation, tbh...

I don't agree. Plain and simple. I think humans will always be unique from robots...Until they can create each other (which we should never give them the power to do), they are still limited by what we can do, or to how we can create them...

Honestly, I'd rather is go to the military. 100%... But that's because I'm in the military. So, I'd be fine with that...

I agree with this. I looked it up. I could really find any that were really good... At least, to me...

I'm going to die either way. So it's whatever... The rich never seem to be able to do stuff, anyway. So, if the rest die, they will, too...

It should only go to people earning under a certain amount, but over another certain amount. That way people cant just sit on their ass and collect it, and the people who do get it also contribute.

That literally defeats the entire point of it.
