I think the campaign lost a lot of it's charm too at this point. If you didn't play it when it was new, it just feels like part of the oversaturated soldier game that CoD themselves helped oversaturate to hell. I do like how it didn't take the control out your hands every 2 seconds like the newer games tend to tho. They actually let you play without ripping control out your hands and making you focus on exactly what they want you to everytime you start having some fun

Nah the MW2 campaign is still great lol, people just took out their anger on it because it didn't come with any multiplayer, which is understandable

Modern Warfare 2019 had a lot of memorable moments too, although it was a little heavy handed at times

MW2 campaign is legit one of the best console FPS campaigns ever. Every single level* is a hit and, to quote the Dunk, its the only Call of Duty game in color. Even today that shit is GORGEOUS. How bright and vibrant everything is makes the latter few US missions that much more impactful. Goddamn, that shit is just so fun.

I have no stake in multiplayer. Never did. Other people's anger also have no place in my mind, this is literally the first topic I've seen about MW2 that wasn't praising it I do find most these games underwhelming in general tho. Ill get a spark of enjoyment here and there, but it's quickly put out by the feelings I stated. There was a day I had fun with them.

Playing through the campaign again, got a question (major spoilers).

Why did Shepherd betray everyone again? If he kept quiet then his plans would have proceeded as they are anyway and he wouldn't have ended up dying.

It's just multi-player, you played one you played them all.
