Kind of groaning at Harley Quinn being in this movie too. at least half of these characters are just there to be silly and die early my baseless prediction is to sort of play with our expectations one of the more famous people will end up getting killed super early (it would be pretty funny if after all the speculation Idris Elba dies in the first ten minutes) and one of the dumbest characters will make it all the way to the end (I have a good feeling about Polka Dot Man) The one character Im really confused by is Mongal. I think it would have been a far better marketing move, but the movie looks really good and maybe they just had that much confidence in it at the jump. I certainly would since James Gunn is an all-star. But it's just surprising to me with how much of a total disaster they have to follow up with that they didn't try to toss more people that comic fans and casuals could go "Oh hey I know them."
