the really young people resent that the people in their 20s and 30s were the last generation with bands that would stay famous and almost universally liked for many decades, unlike the niche bands they like they disappear as fast as they appeared

Anthony has a questionable upbringing if you look into it. His dad let him sleep with his girlfriend(his dads girlfriend btw, they took turns on the woman) when he was a teenager and that kind of thing happened until he was older. I believe he said he was 14 or 15 the first time. That's wild.

I went to one of their concerts and it kind of sucked. They didn't do any of their older songs which are the ones that people know and like.

It was also one of the only concerts I've ever been to where they refused to do an encore.

His autobiography is worth reading if you like the band because he goes into detail about all of this. "Questionable" is being kind to his parents. His upbringing was a mess really.

Its rare to find bands that stay relevant for decades. Say what you will about some of the more recent stuff (some of it is really good) but they are still doing new things and still making music for almost 40 years now.
