Im still a little iffy, are we sure we can still trust him, a Trump doner, to deliver our votes?

Problem is, the changes have already been made, with some of the sorting machines destroyed. This is like an arsonist standing on a pile of ashes promising not to burn down more buildings.

Expect Congress to grill him hard on mail-in ballots this and next week.

None of this would be a problem if we had end-to-end encryption based voting instead of dumb ape human based voting

Trump will probably fire him now just like he did Sessions when the latter listened to common sense from the american people

wouldnt that require the whole voting system to be networked though? Even under the best encryption that would create a lot of new vulnerabilities

There are models out there that exist where you can take the entire checksum and validate any given vote, including your own. If any one person comes out says their vote was flipped, then anyone in the country can verify their claim. The only hole would be your vote being flipped by the software you're using to vote with sending the wrong input, but you would know immediately, and should be able to undo it.

It's as transparent as it gets. Look at the bitcoin network, the whole framework is open source yet it's never been hacked.

It would be much more secure than having blind faith in corrupt officials. The only issue is convincing lay voters, many have been convinced that "what exists on a computer will be hacked".

Don't trust DeJoy just yet. There needs to be inspectors to ensure that the USPS has reversed the changes to make the mail-in votes more efficient and smooth.

Yup, boxes taken, boxes locked, even seen mention of 'unneeded' vans taken.

They're not reversing some of the biggest changes, things like no overtime and no extra trips even if mail gets left behind are still in force. These have been a major source of delays.
