I can't imagine they wouldn't. It'll probably be a while, since they'll ride out the normal theatre period with this rental system (that is, keep renting it like this until it stops being profitable to do so, which will probably take longer than a typical theatre release), then give it a physical/download release a little while after that, then only release it on Disney+ once they feel they've exhausted those early adopters as well, but it'll be there eventually. Yeah. I feel they would lose a lot of people if they didnt release it on the normal subscription at all... wwinterj25 posted...
Yeah. It can get more expensive with food. But I would count food. Unless youre going to add in the price of food and snacks for the home price, too... Mead posted... would be really shitty if it didnt and theyd be hurting themselves in the long run because it would diminish the value of Disney+ which already is struggling to churn out new content that interests a lot of people Yeah. I could see a lot of people canceling if never became free with Disney+ since it would make the subscription useless. --- Official King of Kings Switch FC: 7216-4417-4511 Add Me because I'll probably add you. I wouldn't really call it a kick in the teeth. That's what has happened to every single movie that's ever been put onto a streaming service after being released in theatres, and before that what has happened to every single movie that's ever shown up in a bargain bin or Blockbuster. Watching a movie in theatres (which is what these rentals are meant to be a substitute for) hasn't been a matter of exclusive access since home video started being a thing. It's just early adoption, whether because you like the experience of the theatre or just want to see it sooner than you'd otherwise be able to. It's different because people already pay for D+. Right now it's D+ and $30, so anybody watching later with D+ should feel a little irked. And in general $30 is priced to own. _AdjI_ posted... Never releasing it on Disney+ or adding a premium tier would set a precedent that would turn a lot of people off of the service. My favorite Disney film is Oliver and Company (mostly for Dodger).
Kinda wish Funko would decide to make Funko Pops of the characters since they seem to love making any character into one (proof I counted at least 10 variants of Rick from Rick and Morty in a Walmart once). --- Forget what you've already won and focus on the current match. I'll eat said food anyway at home so eh. What I mean is if you're going to count the food you buy at the movie theater, then you should count the food and drink you'll eat at home. It only seems fair. If not, then you really only compare the price of the tickets to the price of the actual movie... By adding in the price of arcades and food and drink form the theater is just making it more expensive just to try to prove a point. Especially since that will change person to person. Like not everyone will use the arcade. And not everyone will get concession stand snacks. And some people will bring stuff from home. If you bring food/drinks from home, and a portable game system like a switch or DS, the price for food or the arcade can go down to $0... --- Official King of Kings Switch FC: 7216-4417-4511 Add Me because I'll probably add you. There's no reason to count the food at home when theater prices are absurdly expensive. You can probably get 3 boxes of a 6 pack of popcorn for one large theater box price.

Again I eat the food at home anyway so no I don't factor in my food prices at home. It matters not anyway. All I factor in is paying half the price of a ticket(241) and snacks compared to watching at home for nothing. But you might also eat more at home since it's already there. Either way, I still wouldn't count the food, drinks, and arcade prices with the price of the movie ticket, and only count the price of the movie at home... wwinterj25 posted...
