Your mom or dad's parents?

I would say my father's parents but only just (they died not too many years after I moved to the US so I never really got to know them like my cousins).

Really just my moms mother.

Because my dads grandparents died before I was alive and coherent to know them, and same with my moms dad...he died when I was like 4. Only one still alive and well is my 87 year old grandmother on my moms side.

My grandma on my dad's side. My grandpa was an alcoholic and child molester.

My grandparents on my mom's side loved me and everything but I was never able to warm up to them for whatever reason. I felt extremely bad when my grandpa died because he wanted me to have his ring that he always wore even though I hadn't conversed with him since I was a little kid. Just the thought that I was in his mind at the end really hurt.

I wasn't really close to either of my grandmothers. Growing up, I saw them for maybe a week out of the year, if that. After high school, it was more like once every few years. My dad's mom just died a few years ago, mom's mom is still alive. Haven't seen her in a few years.

My granddads were never in the picture while I was alive, although I knew their husbands about as well as my grandmothers.

I didn't have grandparents, or relatives for that matter.
Or even siblings.

My dads, mostly my nan. Both are dead now. I don't know much if anything about my mums side of the family but I'm not even close with my mum so go figure.

My grandparents on both sides were deceased before I came along so I never met them sadly.

my mom's mom died when she was just a kid, and my mom's dad died just after I was born.

My dad's parents died only recently (within the last 6 years or so)... they were awesome.

Really just my moms mother.

This. In fact I was raised by my maternal grandmother. Her husband (my mother's father) died in a hurricane in the 1950s when my mum was only a little girl. As for my father's parents they died before I was born. I think my older siblings knew them when they were very young but there's a big age gap between my siblings and me.

Only really knew my maternal grandmother. And if we were close, it was because she lived in the same town -- not because there was warmth.

My maternal grandfather left the family before I was born and I only met him once when my cousin came home from Iraq, and I only met him because my mother asked.

My maternal grandmother never worked and my mother, aunts , and uncles took care of her for 40 + years . My cousins and I spent alot of time with her , including taking her on the Beast_Kings Island) on her 65th birthday.

My paternal grandparents divorced also before I was born and I rarely saw them . Although I saw my grandmother enough to have a good relationship with her , until she moved away from my home county.

My kids have spent a lot more time with their grandparents , moreso with the wife's parents since they live less than a mile away, whereas my mother lives 30 miles away and spent a decade during the summer 100 miles away on a lakeside property.

3/4 of my grandparents were dead before I was born. The remaining one I only met once.

I was closest with my great grandmother on my father's side.
