I've been doing just about every Arena battle possible, optimally, I'm on a +30 win-streak, and I've only been going down in placements :|

I'm willing to give them a pass on the arena until I see next months battle pass. It looks like the battle pass refreshes every month so theoretically the reason this month was bad is because we only had half a month to clear a full months worth of battles.

yeah, i was assuming the battle pass would normally last a calendar month, but we'll find out soon enough.

You're not going to beat out people spending tons of Gleamstones to battle more, which is what the top ranks will consist of.

I think in a normal month 1000-1500 is attainable and the longer you play, the higher rank you'll be able to get since your prestige doesn't reset. I'm hovering around the 1400 mark now I think

I still cannot believe that I haven't gotten 1 Repede Memoria yet. I've spent all of my gleamstones as soon as I get 2,500.

I think out of all the SRs available from summons there's been 2 I haven't gotten and Repede is one of them. That's so fucked up.

That's 5am in Japan time, which some games have their login/reset at that time. I guess the idea is that it gives some leeway to the people who stay up late to collect their login bonus and do their dailies, while at the same time, the people who wake up early can just get on with it and start their day anew.

Look at it this way, in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, the reset time is also 5am to whatever your Switch time is on.

I don't think any characters have a statline that is outright inferior to others'; just different. Sorey has average HP, sub-par Atk, and very high Def. Balances out.

Yeah I actually gave him the levels and realized he was a tankey dude. MoveD the maxed Reid Memoria to him and it's a match made in heaven.

Also an excuse to move my level 80 Kyle Memoria over to Velvet and got her to full glass cannon. Better to improve strengths than to cover weakness, IMHO.

Leveled up a R Memoria stone to 60 for science (also for invent space). A 60 R is about the same stats as a 50 SSR Memoria, maybe a shade less

3084 HP / 324 ATK / 316 DEF / +8% Crit on a 60 Presa

Started using the Ascension Board on Velvet. Got the +Overlimit boosts, as well as +6% Atk, +6% Def, +6% HP> I wrote down the differences before and after upgrading, and the boosts seem to be pretty good.

Strange Core and All Seeing Eyes are the absolute worst (I assume it's the same on the light side equivalent of those 2 materials). I have enough materials to awaken 4 Water/Dark/Wind people to 100 except I don't even have enough cores/eyes to awaken even 1. By the time I have enough cores/eyes for all 4 I'll be absolutely swimming in everything else.

They really need to make the materials that are used for multiple elements and multiple levels (cores are used for 80 > 90 too) drop more frequently.

I think the next events are power up dungeons related and Gald related. I didn't see anything mentioned about side stories but haven't checked since the original announcement

Eye of the Demon Beast and Rainbow Lens are the two that are the worst for me. I've awakened a fire + light unit to 100. And I have enough of all the other stuff to make two more light units level 100 except for these two

Strange Cores are obscenely hard to find even though you need a ton of them to ascend from 80->90 AND 90->100. The Eyes take a while to get but at least they're only used for the final stage of Ascension.

Strange Core and Rainbow Lens look to be equivalent for opposite elements. I'd buy all the Rainbow Lens and Eye of the Demon Beasts that you can from the event shop. They're a pain even with me cleaning the shop out

I've been primarily starting and it's not GREAT but I get like twice as many rewards MVPing there versus while aiding. I pretty much only aid people in the guild or my friends list now.

You need the tokens to start which means I'd have to waste even more time doing normal and hard vers of the raid

So I could do normal 4-5 times... to host hard like 1-2 times which might not even let you host once in Very Hard.

You do both. Here's KP personal guide to raiding:

1. Start your own raid. Immediately call for help. Do one round of damage then leave.
2. Aid in another raid. Go crazy with damage until you die (which means no healer stalling for you Estelle people). Leave the raid.
3. Check on your own raid. If people have joined, join as well and go crazy with damage until you die. If they haven't, repeat Step 2.
4. If any raid you've participated in is stalled out, re-join, call for aid (which can be done every six minutes), then leave.
5. Repeat the steps until the raid you created is finished. Then create a new raid and do it all again.

Basically just try to participate in as many raids as possible. Quantity over quality. At one point I had solid contributions to four different ongoing raids and I received decent rewards from all of them.

Velvet's options are:

+HP (4 upgrades)
+Atk (4 upgrades)
+Def (4 upgrades)
+Crit multipler (5 upgrades)
+Element advantage damage (5 upgrades)
+Normal attack damage (4 upgrades)
+Over Limit per action (2 upgrades)

Also got Lloyd to 100, which was easy thanks to being able to purchase upgrade materials from the forest event. He gets:

+HP (4 upgrades)
+Atk (4 upgrades)
+Def (4 upgrades)
+Crit multipler (4 upgrades)
+Damage reduction from wind (4 upgrades)
+Over Limit per action (3 upgrades)
+HP Recovery (2 upgrades)

I did 5 Normal Wind Raids to get the tokens so that I could host 1 Hard Wind Raid and got 1 Mat from it.

36 Minutes for 1 Mat to leveling a unit to 90 when they need like 20 total for it

Is his literally the fastest charge in the game? He gets an OL from just 2 attacks to a water type if one of them kills. And it's so good, too.

If you don't have the materials to host a raid then it's way faster just to repeatedly aid.

So 140, pretty sure that's the lowest. Damage is pretty good, effect is great.

As actual tier kits come out and not prerelease damage stan lists that put literally Estelle in bottom tier, Sorey is probably gonna be towards the top at the very least, God.

It's a good Mystic Arte but I think you're overrating it a bit. While it comes up often, Sorey's Atk is so low that the damage it does isn't going to be very high, and the Wildfire is wasted against solo raid bosses.

Might actually be very useful for the later ballbustingly hard stages of the Battle Tower, though...

My Sorey has decent attack atm, not incredible but he's out preforming Stahn since I don't have a decent fire Memoria for him yet that's attack focused. He has Gaius right now, which is a tankey Memoria. Guess I could level up the Bruiser Memoria, but it feels like a waste since the memoria skill is for martial artists only.

Sorey also has a decent burn chance ability and a 10 hit combo ability, so not. Too shabby there either.

I think the most overrated unit of all is Leon for sure, there's not a lot going on here. Maybe once curse is fixed he'll start shining more.

Since I started so late into this event I don't think I'll be able to save up 1000 berries to get Farah's stone. What's the best use of the berries besides that? I've got 315 saved up right now but I'm out of AP to get any more
