Current Events > Playing through the Halo series. Any reason we shouldn't play Reach before ODST?

We played 1, 2, and now we're almost done with 3. Reach is already out in the Master Chief Collection, ODST is upcoming. We were gonna play by release date, but not sure when ODST is gonna hit.

Any reason not to play Reach while we wait?

It's basically an expansion to 3. There's no link between them so you're good to play Reach.

ODST is incredible. Make sure you do the audio logs for an awesome side story.

There's one small link between ODST and Reach - Buck, the squad leader in ODST, is in a mission in Reach and has a few lines
