What is the highest dollar amount you can blindly spend with no second thought?

Say you're shopping and see something you like, or you're planning to enjoy some kind of experience. How high can the ticket price be where you are able to just shrug it off because it isn't that much money?

In this context a trinket is basically anything. Clothes, electronics, makeup, food, alcohol or drugs, whatever your personal vice might be (although I use the term vice very loosely here). I am very specifically not talking about necessities, the poll is about what your luxury purchase limit is. Not a "treat yo self" moment, just "I am in Target and saw this thing. *Add to cart without a second thought*"

The idea for this topic came to me today when an artist I follow pushed out notifications for a summer merch sale. Despite being a bit strapped for cash, I instantly added a $10 thing to cart and bought it. Was looking at some t shirts and stuff but went "Ehh... $10 is enough for now". Was wondering where CE fell in this. I've definitely had higher casual buying limits in the past but the whole COVID thing has crippled my wallet :/

I think about every dollar I spend. It's more so about how much I think about it. But Im not gonna purchase something without thinking about my want or need for the item and if I can justify it.

i reserve myself a 50$ limit if there's something out of budget i want every month.
having our eyes on the danganronpa games there's 3 i need to collect before they're delisted:

despair girls (vita)
Danganronpa V3 (vita) and (ps4)

it's a timed delisting. last games to go is the V3. despair is gone by next month.

I've shrugged off an offer of $300 to watch Kemono Friends.

In terms of actual spending, it depends on what I'm actually spending it on, since I won't spend $60 on a new game, but am willing to spend $1000 on hardware.

Most I allow myself to impulse buy is $50-$60 for a new game I want or something similar.

Anything more usually requires me sleeping on it for a few days.

Just to add on

I will spend weeks debating a $20 game

Then drop $130 on dinner without thinking
So its pretty situational

Mainly this.

It kinda speaks to being in a semi fortunate position to be able to decide on worthwhile more over affordability, but I can cap out maybe at a couple grand. To me that better go to a legitimate asset of sorts or car work.
