Is this the voter fraud Trump was worried about with mail-in ballots?

but the adjustment was caught by the county clerk, who knew the voters personally and knew they were not Republicans.

...which more or less shows how easily it goes undetected, because he only got caught because he knew them personally. In this case, it's a wtf crime since the only direct impact -- presumably -- would be that the individuals would be sent the wrong party's ballots for what I'm guessing was their primary? If he didn't know who they'd be voting for in the primary, I'm not sure what could be gained.

At any rate, it's weird to hear people complain about Trump talking about mail-in vote fraud when liberals had been complaining about it for decades and highlighting the ease of mail-in vote fraud whenever anybody questioned other voting methods. Now Trump criticizes it and they're its biggest defenders.

the only way the gop wins is with mass voter suppression. they have to play dirty to win every single time.

There was a similar case in PA a couple weeks ago. I cant imagine why democrats are pushing so hard for this?

Pushing so hard? It happened 3 days ago and this is the first most of you are hearing about it.

Yes, that's exactly what he's going to blame when he loses.

He's just setting up the narrative in preperation.

The problem with Mead's usual misinformation is that the postage handler's party affiliation isn't listed anywhere so he's just guessing -- or outright lying -- that it's a Republican despite the fact that the move (given that this seems to be about a primary contest -- since the event happened in April and the articles list the June primary) doesn't necessarily benefit either party or candidate.

Unlike other states, it doesn't look like WV has publicly available voter records, or, at least, not one I could find.

The GOP knows that Trump supporters will go out and vote even if it's not safe to do so due to covid, so they'll do whatever they can to ensure that voting conditions are unsafe as possible. Mark my words.

It was a primary contest. Who benefits from changes in a primary contest other than somebody supporting a candidate within that party? If you're making a "benefit" argument, it would more likely be a Democrat who benefits because the direct benefit would be for a Democratic candidate. (Sure, you could make a downstream argument that a candidate not making it through the primary might also benefit his opponent during a general election, but the most direct benefit goes to the other candidate in the race.)

And you're literally posting something I had posted. You could have quoted me for that section.

Democrats do voter manipulation and fraud all the time.

So does the GOP. Rich people can wander into any political party and buy off any vulnerable human being. (I think the GOP is more into it though, oppression is their whole gimmick)

Can't cover the real fraud, must cover some silly story about a crazy mailman. The real voter fraud is too useful.

Big brain Zues is onto those evil mailmen though and you can't stop him. That is the current GOP narrative and therefore it is objective reality.

Im not sure how it works in different states but doesnt each party have their own ballot? Like it isnt the same forum for both party primaries. Sounds like the guy was changing what people were registering AS, which would benefit republicans if youre changing democrats to republicans.

edit: yeah, they were ballot requests.

Geez, Jamie, are you also doubling down on that shitty name typo fad? And like I already said:

USA needs to adopt end-to-end encryption that can be validated by anyone. RNC and DNC are just companies that say whatever PR they're paid to say and don't give a shit about real ideas. You would need to get the progressives to understand why it's good.

Progressives are generally too technologically illiterate to pick that up and they tend to learn from patterns and statistics, and historically computers have been used to manipulate votes more easily over paper. I'll put together a YouTube video about it and send it to a couple online people and see if I can make it a thing.

The truth is that until votes are as secure open and uniform as the Blockchain there will be voter fraud. Oh, and it'll have to be federal. There would be a huge backlash from old people who don't understand computers, but all of the scientific community would be vouching for it. We could safely out the politicians against it as "pro-voter-fraud"

I had jamieyello (closed)
jamieyello0 (I forget)
jamieyello2 (banned??)
jamieyello3 (closed)

Two was short lived and the two closed ones were me trying to "quit" gamefaqs, which I realize was stupid. Gamefaqs isn't a waste of my time, it's a way to efficiently waste the time I didn't want anyway.

It's just as the Scarlet Letter laid out: the people who cry out the loudest about some sort of moral panic or outrage are inevitably really the ones doing such things. Normal decent people don't think about cheating and shit; but people who have cheated (whether on their spouse, on taxes, on voter records, etc...) realize that "if I could do it, then anyone could be capable of it, because...I'm a good person....right?" and become super fucking paranoid.
it's a pretty big tell, really.

And that he lost his secure job with a pension and is probably going to jail...all over trying to alter five ballots. Totes worth the risk!
He probably expects Trump to pardon him. Not an unreasonable expectation at this point, honestly.
