Hated Abby for the first half but tbh, I prefer her over Ellie.

Disagree with both. Divinity Original Sin 2 has extremely boring combat (similar to Diablo and creep). I enjoyed Sekiro but it wasn't even one of the best games to come out that year let alone the whole generation.

They look like average girls (besides Abby due to her size). Ellie, Dina and Abby would all be fairly decent looking if they weren't constantly dirty and covered in blood/bruises/scars.

I watched the full play through online. Btw Im just joking. I can see why people like it. It does a lot of things really right. Its just not the story I wanted and I dont personally care for the direction the story went.

there are lots of play throughs with no commentary, which is what I watched. I actually did the same for the original and I absolutely loved the story. Funny how that works

TLOU 2 could have been a great game had they shifted the story a bit.

We should have started as Abby and seen her life and play as her the first half of the game not knowing who her father was only that she is hunting his killer. Then when she finally reveals that she is hunting Joel the shock value and oh wow factor is preserved giving gamers a much better story as we saw things from her POV and got to know her.

Then we spend the other half of the game hunting her down as Ellie and actually have the player choose if Abby is killed or not.

There could be a good game in TLOU 2 but the way the story is given it fails on every level.

Assassins Creed 3 did this kind of twist extremely well with Haythem before you play as Connor.
