Antifar 07/05/20 11:21:51 AM #1:	Let's say 75 or below on Metacritic as our threshold. I've been really enjoying my time with Phantom Doctrine. I can see why it didn't review all that well (it borrows heavily from Xcom without maybe doing much to improve upon it, it doesn't explain its mechanics very well), but it really scratches a lot of itches for me: tactics, stealth, good map design. Hexenherz 07/05/20 11:43:34 AM #8:	Also The Secret World, which apparently got a 74 (somehow the free-to-play re-launch that totally killed the community got a 76? that's disappointing). Had a really hard time with it when I first got into it, but they revamped the new player experience to make it easier (yet still challenging) to play through the game as a solo player. I love everything about that game, from the sound effects to the setting to the music to the characters and writing. It got ridiculous how they would find reasons to end up there. I did like some of the characters, especially my girl Daisy. Staying in the SR universe though my pick would be Gat Out of Hell. It was fun for what it was.
