City of Chicago had a mobile (walk up) covid testing site in my neighborhood from 11 - 3. Kudos for bringing the tests to the people.

While the announced deaths is 14, they go on to say (buried in newscast) there are 201 probable covid deaths for Monday.

This is starting to feel like March all over again

It sure is, only now with more clarity of how severe this really is.

I live in Central Florida. Luckily outside Orlando, a smallish town called cocoa. Inland west from cocoa Beach. My state reopening is being intentionally skewed. An employee at the Florida department of health was fired after refusing to alter data in favor of a sooner reopening.

And the chick fil a I work at in Viera, a more metropolitan area close by, has an employee that tested positive. Like I don't have any info on whaf were doing or what. We fucking serve ready to eat food. I'm worried.

We do require masks. However, idk if you ever worked at a restaurant, but sometimes people make small mistakes. Forget to wash there hand at some point, touch a surface they shouldn't have. It's not good. Doesn't matter how good our guidelines are because everyone person starting with prep, to assembly, to handing the food out would have to all follow all directions and be perfectly hygienic.

Oh no. PA just fully opened on Friday, with the exception of the city of Philadelphia which is set to fully reopen July 3rd. I can only imagine the next few weeks will go just fine...

Allegheny already closed down bars again. If they close gyms down, I believe both in my area will go under.

Oh damn I didnt know they closed bars over there. I know they just reopened them a few weeks ago, correct? Over here in southeastern PA, our bars just opened Friday. Cant imagine thatll last too long.

The sad thing is all of the fucking morons who are prolonging this crisis are proud of their stubbornness cause MERICA FREEDUMB FUCK YEAH

Nevada to stay in phase 2 of reopening until the end of July. It's the right call and should help especially with the mask mandate.

We screwed up when we didn't require masks when the casinos reopened. We were doing really well til then.

My state, Illinois, had a budget impasse where day care centers and special child care centers went under and everyone forgot about as though it did not happen. If there is a future where we do not have barbers, bars and gyms; ie price-accessible ones; then we forget we ever had them and do without.

The more you stay home and stay away from people the less chances youll get it. If you can live like a hermit until next year then you probably wont ever get it. It all depends on what you do. When you do go out wear a mask and gloves and youre good...

I know it's hard being a tourism based state but we should still be encouraging people to stay home if they don't need to go out, and wear the masks when you do need to. There are alot of families from out of state mixing together closely in our pool with no masks for this to be safe. If we have an outbreak, the pool is where it will originate, not the casino that gets disinfected every half hour.

Oregons governor announced a statewide face covering for indoor locations. Originally it was just for the Portland metra area.

Cases last week were 200+,plus, 146 today. She's just looking for an excuse to shut down the state again.

I seriously need to get back to the gym. There's an LA fitness by my house that I used to have a membership for. I'm tempted to go back but worried about what might be dwelling in it. That and do I have to wear a mask while working out since it's indoors?
