I thought maybe I would go home at the end of the month, come back August 2nd (2 weeks before work starts again) and have 2 weeks in the hotel, but now I have to pay for the hotel (while still paying rent) and they're crazy expensive. And flights are expensive too. Highlights of the hotel stay will include: (The answer to the last question is also "no.") So, you know. Fun. Sister's pregnant with twins. I probably would have just missed it anyway, but I will almost certainly miss it now. It fucking suuuuuucks. It's beyond predatory.
