Those would be 2nd degree burns with partially popped blisters. Luckily, it's only a very thin layer of skin, not deep enough to cause bleeding.

It's not something a lot of people like to see.

I don't need medical attention. Just good wound care. Plus all the hops in my system protect me.

Youch. Looks like it probably still hurts like a mofo, hopefully you've got something to soothe and protect it.
What'd you do, spill boiling water on yourself? I got a (much much smaller) 2nd degree burn a couple months ago pulling something out of a toaster-oven, bumped my knuckle against the top of it.

It was hot oil and I was a dumbass.

I have antibiotic on it now. I put ice on it within 60 seconds. After 15 minutes, I took it off and let it air dry. By then my wife showed up with burn gel, a non-stick bandaid and tape. After covering, it hurt like a 7-8/10 for about an hour, despite topical lidocaine 4%, 2 beers and a plant's oil.

It happened at 2ishpm and it almost 7 now. I'm pain free now, just a very mild sting. I can make a closed fist also with mild discomfort.

I plan to be ready for work on Friday.

Sunny, not to tell you your business, but really man be very watchful as this is the kind of wound that is easily infected no matter how careful you are. At the least sign of redness around the edges seek medical treatment, they have far better stuff than you can get.

I understand, but realize that I felt the same way about an infection in my toe and I'm now missing the leg it was attached to all the way to the thigh. It's not a big deal really as life has actually been easier since I got my $6 leg (jk it's closer to $25K, my joke is I'm the $6[000,000] Man like the old show). Just be careful is all I'm saying, things can change in a hurry sometimes.

Yes, but that had nothing to do with what happened to me. The leg had been badly injured in 1972 and developed an infection at the time which went dormant in my toe for the next 45 years. In 2017 the infection came out of dormancy and blew out the end of my toe. At the time (2017) my toe got infected I was convinced I had cut my toe on some stupid piece of glass or something on the floor of my apartment. The doctor, after examining my leg, determined the infection came from inside exploding out not from a cut. So my accident in 1972 came back to bite me in the foot as one might say lol.

Lol, trust me it never felt like it. That accident pretty much screwed up all my plans in my young life. I very much had to re-invent myself because everything I had trained/worked for I was no longer able to physically do anymore. That's the biggest reason I'm asking Sunny to be careful. One mistake changed everything for me, and it wasn't even my mistake.

It is non-stick bandaid trimmed and taped to only cover the wound. You can barely notice it under the glove. I know most of my customers by name and shared the images of the burn with some of them.

One of the most fascinating aspects of my research project is the people who cling to a false narrative and run with it. Those that choose to share in that fantasy are great to analyze.

Why lie about people you barely know? Why act like this is high school? Didn't you learn to socialize with civility?
