I haven't played with other people tbh, but I've had loads of fun with the game.

Although I'm getting really sick of trying to get below deck to get this secret area. Every guide says to go to lower decks, but fuck if I can figure out how. And not a single guide wants to show how.

Its mediocre at best, it's incredibly shallow and short, I beat it in under 4 hours in a single gaming session. They're also already advertising paid dlc within the game.

It feels like fodder for gamepass imo, I wouldn't pay more than the price for a gamepass subscription.

are there difficultly settings to make it more challenging?

I have mixed feelings.

There are are three main difficulties. Default, Adventure, Apocalypse. To unlock them you gotta beat the campaign. Everything carries over, so its like NG+ but you can switch back and forth.

Then each level has a difficulty slider. If you want the better gear from each level, youll need to play the harder versions.

it can be a fun game. I enjoyed the story, for what it is. The combat is simplistic, but can be fun.

Its pretty shallow and repetitive though. After beating the campaign the first time, I dont have much interest in doing it on harder difficulties. Ill probably play on and off again.

I also feel like the game could have been fleshed out a lot more. Maybe more stuff unlocks in harder difficulties, but the camp seemed overly big for a whole lot of nothing.

Wasnt a a fan of the bosses either. Though maybe it helps if you play co op. But they were fairly frustrating.

Overall I enjoyed the game.

But I would recommend a sale or GamePass though.

So the frustration at points isn't just me sucking?

It's cool but very short. I wouldn't recommend it right now, but it may be a great game in a year once they flesh it out a bit.

I get where you're coming from, but I do have to say it's at least not a full priced ($50-$60) game.

I personally didn't go for the heroes version because the DLC isn't out. If the price doesn't rise and it looks good I might get it after it does.

I feel like I've gotten my $20 and then some out of it, but milage will vary tbf.
