One of the most iconic voices in gaming, simply tossed aside in order to make a really subpar game (MGSV) and then do absolutely nothing with the IP afterward. Voice work is a time sensitive thing. He can't just get back into the role 20 years later. And MGS as a whole has been tragically mismanaged. We'll probably never see anything decent in the franchise ever again. They can't even let people have the Collection on consoles other than the PS3, and it's like $150 now and doesn't even include Twin Snakes.
