My grandparents live out in the country, though, so I've seen plenty. They're like Aussie deer in the way that you have to watch for them when you're driving at night, because they'll total your car. It was a bad idea all things considered, but I can assure you that in food and alcoholic beverages, I have had a lower caloric intake than usual today. Walk into any pub bistro in the state, and I bet at least 9/10 times you'll find a chicken schnitzel. Chicken parmigiana is synonymous with pub schnitzel, and around where I live we also have toppings like Mexican or tropical. I have had beef schnitzel before, but the bulk of my schnitzel experiences have been chicken.
